A pedestrian oasis where time seems to have stood still.
A stroll through the village:
Stroll through the narrow streets and past the pastel-colored houses. Since it’s entirely pedestrian-only, the atmosphere is extremely relaxing.
The central square is the heart of the village. Stop for a coffee or an aperitif while admiring the small harbor and the famous “Torre” (the tuff islet connected to the village by an isthmus).

Fumarole Beach:
Just a one-minute walk away, volcanic activity here is so intense that steam rises from the hot sand (which is often used for cooking).

Ancient Roman Baths of Cavascura:
Located in the heart of Maronti Beach, these natural thermal baths, carved into the tuff, retain the charm and healing properties of Roman times.

Hiking on Mount Epomeo:
If you enjoy hiking, you can start in Sant’Angelo, hike up toward Serrara, and then reach the summit of Mount Epomeo (787 m) to enjoy the most beautiful view on the entire island.

Water taxi to Sorgeto Bay:
Take a water taxi from the port to go for a swim in the natural hot waters of Sorgeto, where hot springs flow directly into the sea.

Boat trip::
Rent a boat or buy tickets for one of the many boat tours around the island.
